Our Approach & Treatment Options

Our approach

Our evaluation includes a thorough psychiatric history, symptom screening using validated tools, review of school or work performance, ruling out other conditions, and a written diagnostic summary.
Treatment is individualized. Many patients do well with behavioral strategies, parent training, school accommodations, and brief therapy. When medication is indicated, we discuss every option, start conservatively, and monitor closely.
We coordinate with primary care, schools, and therapists. We also provide written documentation for school accommodations and workplace requests.

Treatment options for this condition

  • Stimulant and non-stimulant medication management when indicated
  • Behavioral therapy and parent training referrals
  • School accommodation documentation
  • Workplace accommodation support for adults
  • Coordination with pediatrician or primary care
