1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the website missingpieces.care or any service provided by Missing Pieces Telehealth Psych LLC ("the Practice"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or services.
2. Use of the Website
You may use the website to learn about the Practice, schedule appointments, contact the Practice, and access patient resources. You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, or use the website for unlawful purposes.
3. Telehealth Services
The Practice provides psychiatric care through secure telehealth technology. Telehealth visits are subject to the same privacy and clinical standards as in-person care. To receive care, you must be physically located in a state where the provider holds an active license at the time of your visit.
4. Not Emergency Services
The Practice does not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or 911, or go to your nearest emergency department.
5. Patient Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete information to your provider.
- Complete intake forms at least 24 hours before your first visit.
- Attend scheduled visits on time, or cancel at least 24 hours in advance.
- Pay for services in accordance with the agreed billing arrangement.
- Use the patient portal and Spruce for clinical communications, not the public contact form.
6. Payment & Cancellation Policy
- Payment is due at the time of service.
- Late cancel or no-show fee: $75.
- If intake forms are not completed at least 24 hours before your first visit, the visit may be rescheduled.
7. Prescriptions & Controlled Substances
The Practice prescribes medications when clinically appropriate. Prescribing of controlled substances follows applicable federal and state laws. Some controlled substances may require additional documentation, in-person follow-up, or specialist coordination.
8. Confidentiality & HIPAA
We comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and applicable state privacy laws. See our Privacy Policy for detail on how we handle protected health information.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on missingpieces.care, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Missing Pieces Telehealth Psych LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use content without prior written permission.
